Did you ever make or purchase a set of elements that were all on one layer? Did you want to separate them in individual files for easier access instead of cutting them out every time? This script will do just that.

The script will cut out each element, and save them in the same folder the initial image is saved. The script will also automatically name the separate files using the name of the initial image, and number them. Very useful to separate alphas that are made on single sheets but also other elements. You can either separate alphas you purchase, or separate those you create to offer more options to your customers.

No cutting or selecting is necessary. This script will cut any number of elements arranged in any way on the layer; no need to have them in a grid format. Works very fast, with minimal input from the user.

Instructions included on how to run this script on Photoshop and Photoshop Element. No installation needed.

Tested on CS2-CS6, PSE6-PSE11, PC and Mac.

I was just wondering, how many of you have checked out the incredible fonts over at Creation Cassel?

She has some of the neatest scripts that use fonts...the possibilities are endless with them!

Create your own stitching lines with this FONT. Each letter, from a to z, will have a specific, different and uneven cross-stitch. You can then create corners, frames, or tie elements to a layout using a very uneven stitching. You can randomly type letters (even with your eyes closed!) for a messy cross-stitching, or you can use the same character to get a regular more even stitching row.

If your graphic software allows text on path, then you can apply these stitching’s to any path you create. Since it is a font, you can control the color, the size, the kerning and the character combinations. Add a little noise to the stitching to give some texture.
